Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known character was as Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for performing in Preparatory School before moving to Ohio with her family in the mid-70s. She attended theatre classes through Northwestern University and spent a year studying at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons performing in Chicago the theatre before moving to TV and film roles. Anna received her breakthrough in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna was on Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In fact, it was only in the latter part of 1990 when she landed the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons.
